Ethifarm's Wholesale Unit started its operations in January 2011.

The Unit is registered as a separate legal entity while it remains to be owned and managed by its parent company - Ethifarm.
The Wholesale Unit was created specifically to enhance the sales of the company's products by building direct business relationship with targeted groups of retailers (pharmacy networks), independently of the ordinary sales executed through major pharmaceutical distributors operating on the market.

Just 12 months after the launch of the Unit operations there are more than 600 active customers registered in its database, accounting for more than 10% of the total retail pharmaceutical market in Poland. Our logistics solutions guarantee order deliveries in less than 48 hours to any pharmacy nationwide.

As of Q4 2011 the Wholesale Unit accounted for approximately 40% of company net sales and its contribution is steadily growing, while the volume of sales through the traditional distribution channels remained stable throughout 2011.

The customized service provided by the Wholesale Unit to the pharma retail sector appears to be one of the competitive advantages of Ethifarm as well as an essential growth factor in an increasingly competitive market environment.
